West Coast sea surface report 9-26

[Fishing Report]

The upwelling system has brought cool water, with temperatures ranging between 51 and 54°F along the northern California coastline. West of the coastline warmer sea water between 57-59°F circulates within the colder water. The sea surface temperature around the coast of Santa Barbara decreases to 57-60°F, with the sea surface temperature increasing along the coast of San Diego between 64 and 69°F. There is a sea surface low off of the coast of San Francisco that is currently 30 cm below sea level. There is a sea surface high off of the coastline north of Santa Barbara that is 10-15 cm above sea level.
