2/5/12 The American is still producing nice fish in the 8 pound range on hot
shots and black Rooster tail spinners. Two fish today while one got away.

2/3/12 The American was on fire today and was an all Hot Shot bite. We
scored 3 fish in the net to 27 inches on chrome/orange, blue pirate, and copper.
We lost another 3 fish that managed to shake our barbless hooks, and had
another 3 good grabs that didn't stick.

2/1/12 Squirrel Haven 3 and I hit Folsom lake in the Red Ranger, Scoring 2
limits of Kings and Rainbows to 17 inches. The Rainbows were hitting crawlers
behind seps sidekicks in watermelon, long lined on the top. The kings were
hitting GVF spinners, white glow hoochies, Radical glow tubes, behind sling
blade dodgers, down between 30 and 50 ft

There BAAAK. Folsom lake Kings and Rainbows that is. Rainbows are hitting
pink uv hoochies behind sling blades, orange grubs, Night crawlers behind
Sidekicks and all the usual stuff. Kings are hitting anything white, glow etc. The
rainbows are up near 15 feet while the kings are down towards the 30 to 60
foot depth. Slow trolling seems to be the trick so far, but speed trolling is still a
viable alternative.
