Sunday's Report Reiter Ponds
John did a little steelhead fishing before work yesterday, managed to land two in the couple of hours that he put in. He got there around 7:30 in the A.M. and left around 10:00 A.M. . He said that there were around 40 - 50 anglers during the time he was there and saw perhaps around 15 fish landed during that time frame. He said it was a mix of fish caught on floats and jigs as well as conventional drift fishing gear. There was a nix of fish that should some color as well as some fresh bright fish. He mentioned the largest he saw landed was about 12 pounds - Yeah! Norman! Really not that bad of steelheading everything considered.

Tokul Creek
Good reports are coming out of Tokul Creek this AM. We have been hearing of quite a number of fish being hooked and a few even being landed. This is a really fast flowing little stream, which when a fish is hooked the water flow stresses your tackle to the max and a great many of the fish hooked are broken off. Many Tokul regulars fish very heavy tackle with 20 and 25 pound main line and leaders not out of the ordinary. If the water is colored up the visibility of your gear has very little meaning. Most of the fish are showing a bit of color.
