small boat in la jolla kelps??

Hi, I have a 14 foot boat. I want to go the kelps in la jolla is it safe for a 14 foot boat????
Where do you launch the boat to get there???

pretty sure you will need to launch in Mission Bay.Tom

You should be ok, in the summer chop, and you can launch at the Dana marina boat launch. I see a lot of small boat out there, and i think you should be ok considering A LOT of kayakers go out there as well. GOOD LUCK FISHING!
