Captain Andres had some lucky customers from Texas and it went well. Overall 28 fish out of the lower San Jaime bank where they found a school of porpoise with a mass of hungry tuna. They ended up catching 20 tunas from 15 to 30 pounds and 1 wahoo about 35 lbs all in the same school and all this was before 11 am. The wind that had blown strong west in recent days but ended up fairly calm and leave pretty good conditions had very good fishing day. The next day was not as good as far as the previous day standards but ended with 8 dorado releaseing 2 small females for a 2 person limit all going 20-25 lbs. They then dedicated themselves to seek marlin on the Pacific along the shore where it has been very good fishing for dorado and is starting to show more strippers as they release 2 and found 4 more that would not bite. There have been very good reports on the lower of big blacks and also blue together with tunas above 100 lbs. Also been very encouraging reports of the mackerel on there way, but are still a little far for us right now so many are hoping a few weeks it should get very hot at the Golden Gate bank. Get to Cabo the stripers are going to be thick when the mackerel get here!!
