Looks like fall is here and the water temperature is coming down. Yesrerday, the temperature was 61 degrees and by Saturday I would think it would be down to 59 degrees. The striper fishing remains good and the sturgeon are starting to show. We will be doing our first sturgeon trip on Sunday so will let you know how it goes. Now the importang stuff. Tuesday night at 7 pm in Rio Vista the Dept. of Fish and Game are holding a workshop on the proposed length and limit changes on striped bass. There are many of us that feel the Dept. of Fish and Game has made up their minds. We will be at this meeting to our opinion of the proposed changes which we do not agree with at all. If the proposed changes go into the regulations this could be the end of our striper fishing and then what next. This must be stopped and the water grabbers have to be put down once and for all. The stripers and salmon have coexisted up until the time that the water districts started taking more water then they were alloted. We need to fight for the stripers to stay in the delta. Come Tuesday night and help us fight for our STRIPED BASS.
