The rain definately helped with some good numbers of sturgeon coming in all last week. The Fish 'n' Fool IV caught sturgeon on each day we fished up to the Diamond Classic Derby. The derby on Saturday was great. There was over forty legal size sturgeon caught and released along with some shaker size and a few over size caught and released. The best bait was eel and grass shrimp but we did the best on mud shrimp and salmon roe. The hot area was down by the 680 bridge and up to the creek. The DFG Commission hearing is scheduled in Sacramento on Thursday, February 2. All concerned fishermen shoould try to attend this meeting. The Fish 'n' Fool IV is scheduled for sturgeon fishing on Wednesday and Friday. Thgese are open load trips and there is still room these days. Now is the time to book those sturgeon fishing trips. The weather is scheduled to be great and the sturgeon are in the area. Call for a reservation.
