ENSENADA TOURNEY IS BACK!—
ENSENADA TOURNEY IS BACK!—
The tournament July 22-23 is back after a three-year absence and has a new format, longer fishing hours, nine optional jackpots in three divisions, great hotel rates, and better summer dates for offshore fishing. As always we will be holding the event at the Hotel Coral, which is a self contained marina and hotel complex just north of Ensenada, less than an hours easy toll road drive south of the US border. The summer saltwater season is just now heating up with tuna starting to show, and Ensenada is the perfect mini-vacation fishing trip for you and your fishing buddies,
The cost is $100 per team member, and that allows you and your teammates to fish all three bass, tuna and yellowtail divisions. Yamaha Paydowns are first through third ($1,000, $500, $300) in all three divisions.
Based on 150 anglers, a low estimate, there is $5400 in payouts, plus a $1,000 team championship check and prize package of four Reactor Gravitron 2 watches.
Those amounts for first through third double with 300 anglers. There’s free drawings, a great venue at the Hotel Coral and Marina, sunny days and fantastic fishing await. Read more here, on the Coral event blog and in the pages of Western Outdoor News.
