    Corbetena Report

Went out yesterday to Corbetena, there was bait all over the place we made skipjacks and bullet tunas right away, we put two on the outriggers and one on downrigger at 100ft. no more than 20 min. of trolling when we had the first strike we made a solid hookup, clear deck and got set up for the battle when the marlin comes out of the water splashing everywere and ripping line we had him on for good 40 min. when the hook came off, after that we trolled for 2 hrs. with no more bites then decided to trolled back to punta de mita and on the way there we released 2 sailfish and called it a day.
Other boats at corbetena also had marlin and tuna strikes.
