The Albacore anglers are finding some fish down near the Davidson today but the wind is coming up. The next window of calmer weather looks like Thursday or Friday. There are still some good reports of Halibut being caught on the west side of Santa Cruz. The Rock fishing has improved now that the swell is down. The Sea Bass fishing should get better as the full moon starts to come around.

The winds are down but the swell came up today. There were not many boats out due to the swell breaking across the harbor at low tide. The swell is expected to start to drop so we hope the weekend will be good. The south swell could help the warm water push up closer to Santa Cruz. There are still some Sea Bass being caught near Monterey. There were some Salmon caught out in front of Santa Cruz in 70-100 feet of water.
