White Marlin Bite - Ocean City - September

It seems for the past few years there has been an excellent (world class fishing with releases in the double digits) white marlin bite off OC in mid to late September. I am curoius to who thinks the bite will be there again this year? Also, will you be targeting them? I know there have been a lot of promises made this summer by our team that we WILL NOT miss it this year - weekday or weekend, we will give it a shot. Our plan is to let the big boys find them, get the reports and then go the next day.

Im with you on that, and my group has made the same agreement. There is one day in our future next month when the call is made and we run the next day, no matter when that day may be.

Spent too many days the past two years at sunset just lookin at the flags and wishing....

Of course they will be here in September September has long been the best month for whitey fishing out of OC....hopefully this year will not disappoint.

fishing should be great baring a hurricane or tropical storm..........that usually seems to put an end to it

Judging by the whites we saw out there in July and the great WMO should be another great year, white populations continue to thrive.

With 3 weeks off work I am staying in OC from Sept 7th - 25th just to be there ready for every weather window to get out and get them.

I'll keep you all posted on when to join the party.
