WBS TUNA BITE

quick report from the tournament while online here at jaco taco...... day 1 decided to run out to the seamount we fished close to in last years tournament since it sounded slow elsewhere the 2 days before.ended up 9-16 on sails and 0-3 on marlins..... hooked and lost a blue and 2 stripeys oh well they had their shots..... day 2 couldnt resist goin back so ran 20 mins past time again only to miss a sail and lose 1 two ft from the leader. ouch josh started seein a few so we picked up and ran 12 miles. shut down 5 miles from him and had a bite right away. caught him and proceeded toward josh where we ended up 8 for 14 or so . late in the day james had a double out his triple on only to pull one off and have the dq ed by my mate. tim ended up catchin a single out that quad bite. fished again today with whitey and tim and the yachtpath girls.... very slow 4 everyone killed 11 gaffers to piss my mate off then went 2-4 on sails and possibly missed a marlin but i didnt get the best look.... my mate swears it was oh well think we goin down to the furuno 2maro next 2 the cerveza. they hooked a black there 2 days ago on their way from golfito.

well.... tim never showed up today so we went anyway, me my mate and a female. left dock at 930. put em in at 11 off cabo blanco. raised 4 marlins. caught 1 outta a double blue had another blue that teased in only to swipe at the pitch and go away. and missed a stripey on my bridgerod and ended up 6-11 on sails. not 2 shabby for 5 hours fishin.... goin again 2maro...............

we tore up the snappa...our first time doin the jigging thing and it was awesome....some sails too
did not succeed on our black marlin quest....we will follow howard tomorrow!
