venezuela Billfish tournament results
Information has been a little slow gettin back here on the tournament this past weekend in Venezuela. But I did hear that Ronnie Fields on the Big Oh won the tournament and Butch Cox on the Prime Time came in second.
one boat that fished yesterday was 5 for 8 on the blues and a sail.

venezuela tournaments
Bill,
That is correct. Went down and fished the Shootout and the Spanish Main tournament together. We did win both tournaments. Brother Ronnie put us on the meat. We caught 12 Blue ones 3 Sails and 1 White in the tourney. Fished 2 days prior and caught 5 blue ones for a total of 17 Blue ones 3 sails and 1 white for 5 days. Ronnie is on fire down here. Went down to fish the fall tourney's also with him, and he won the first. I went down for the second one and we got second in that one. 10 cents a gallon fuel and see 25+ Blue ones in 5 days, why would anyone want to fish anywhere else. Jimmy F. |
