Hey bud I would be careful with that little amount of twist. The twist can tighten up on the pin if there arent a good amount. I always twist atleast ten times. It amost looks like a loose bimini the way the line coming from the rod tip twist back over the twist sometimes in the last inch or two of the twist I will try to take a picture tomorrow. I know that is confusing.
I like to twist the flat lines and straight through the pin on the long riggers. We are total free spool no clicker. We trigger our long riggers to keep the line from coming off the spool. Some times a critter (tuna, dolphin, wahoo, cuda or skippy) will back lash a flat line on a crash bite, according to the skipper thats some times the price you pay to make all your billfish bites count. We have enough back up rods that it dosnt mess anything up.
