TUNA BITE.... GRAND SLAM PLUS 5 STRIPED MARLIN

WOW WHAT A DAY....... RAN OUT TO THAT SEAMOUNT AGAIN..... ENDED UP UP 7 FOR 8 ON MARLINS AND 1 FOR 7 ON SAILS. HAD 3 DIFFERENT DOUBLE MARLIN BITES. 1ST WAS A TRIPLE....... SAIL, DOUBLE STRIPEY..... MISSED THE SAIL AND CAUGHT BOTH STRIPEYS HAD ALREADY CAUGHT A SINGLE STRIPEY AND MISSED COUPLE SAILS. . THEN HOOKED ANOTHER DOUBLE STRIPEY ONLY 2 LOSE 1 AND CATCH THE OTHER. SO WE WERE 5 FOR 6 WHEN THE SPREAD GOT ATE UP AGAIN. HOOKED 2 MORE MARLINS . I SAW THE ONE JUMPIN WAS A BLUE AND THE OTHER A STRIPEY. THEY BOTH WENT SEPARATE WAYS SO WE DUMPED THE BLUE ONE TIED TO A LIFE PRESERVER ON A 30 AND WENT AFTER STRIPEY. HE WAS TUFF BUT WE GOT HIM AND WENT AFTER MY BLUE 1. GOT 2 THE ORANGE AND SAW THAT WE STILL HAVE HIM..... HE HAD IT 2 THE SPOOL AND WAS TOWIN THE ORANGE PFD. WE BACKED DOWN AND GRABBED OUR ROD AND PROCEEDED AFETR OUR BLUE MARLIN. WE GOT HIM IN 15 MINS TO COMPLETE OUR SLAM. I ONLY GOT 1 PIC OF OUR 1ST STRIPEY B4 MY CAM BATTERY DIED. GOIN AGAIN 2MARO....

    Howard,

Hope to run into you again in CR, I gave you a ride a couple of weeks ago to Los Suenos, but you were........a little lethargic.

James on the Dragin Fly has been doing pretty good with the blue ones up off of Cabo Blanco the last 3 days. I'll be rolling back into town around Jan. 4 and will be there until April. Can't wait to get back down there.....at least somebody is shooting mallards, for us it's buffleheads and speks, a few little stripers.

    All the best,

    George Beckwith
