They're still chewing!!!!!!!!!

This report is being told by your local Sancochero

Got the invite to go on the Espadon with Biebs, Capt Sylvain, Mover II and Capt Rick. What a great crew to be out with. arrived around 5:30am after an all night chug. Slow morning with tons of slingers. Moved down the line a few more miles and had a steady pick all day. Mostly doubles would slide into the spread. Biebs aka - The Circle Hook Sensation was En Fuego. He got the first two whites before any of the rest of us could touch a rod. He is now my idol After swinging and missing on a gazzilion fish Mover II and I finally hooked up on a double. They must of been the two stupist marlin in the ocean to have us be able to get em. a few more misses and then Capt Rick had to show us how to get it done with one more release. A final crack at a blue that wouldn't eat and it was time to hit the road. Thanks again Karl and Sylvain. As always had a blast. Final tally was 5 for 13.

and a few dolphin.

Franky - I was downstairs all day and really couldn't give you exact data. But I do know we were 82 miles when we picked up to come home. We never really got to see any cutters like had been reported but PJ saw some.

It's an obvious sign of a talented fisherman when he publically admits he could catch a Bluefish with a treble hook on a given day. I've seen you snag everything that came within sight of a bait too many times and envy your God given talent--- but GD man, having Karl on fire while you're having an off day?--- that's gotta hurt
Pretty work Karl-- and I'm sure that you being the gentleman you are did not rub it in one bit.

Nope he was a perfect gentleman about it. he even offerred to hook them for me and let me sit in the chair and crank them in
But......But .......the one I did catch was a trophy. Both capt Sylvain and Karl went crazy when they saw it and suggested that such a trophy fish should be mounted. I thought hard about it as I was fighting the fish and decided to let him go. But when I looked back to see if Karl was ready to release my trophy, Instead He was standing next to me with a mount contract and a credit card machine.

Bill,
Ended up 1 for 4 fishing with Pat and Bill on the "Odd Couple".
I think you guys were down around the 450 line. We stayed close to the 600 line and got most of our bites in the morning.
At 1:00 we made a move up the line to fish an area we passed on the way down (lots of birds, bait and weed). We managed a bunch of slingers and saw our last marlin right at 4:00. Swing and a miss for Bill. Worked the area a bit more and packed it in with a 60 mile run. Ran 32 knots and were back at the dock at 6:20pm.
Good day.
