They told me there was a fridge up their. They knew once I made it up I wouldn't come down. They didn't even have a pulley system to send up my food

Bill, what rez are you shooting at or is it that you are downsizing the picture before sending it to the site. This is what I am seeing with some of your pictures. Looking at them the lines are broken and it is as if they need to be expanded to make them clear. As you may know, I take 5 to 10,000 pictures and I am picky as to what I think is a good picture for me and out of all that, I get maybe 4 or 5 that I am pleased with...
llove the way you see things and you have a great eye for composeing, wish I had that...This is one of my favorites I have taken so far this year, although a little dark, but the hair on the flys do not have broken lines do to the the high rez that I like to shoot at. Yes I have to have a large card in the camera and it does take more tine to upload to the site but... Please understand that I'm not knocking your pictures, just asking...

Working with a couple handicaps that I am trying to resolve Lee. I am using a new lense and it will take time to understand it.
All my shots are shot on the fine setting in the camera and result in a pic that is usuaully about 2.1 megs per shot. But they have to be sized to be able to upload in bulk on the site. I think you are seeing more of a product of my ignorance on the new lense then the resizing because I did take some shots with the old lense and they came out and resized much more crisp. |

Bill is it a Nikon or a another brand. With my Tamron AF70-300mm I have to have more light to get the shots I am looking for, even more important when I am shooting at longer distances. I also removed the polarizer and that helped a lot. I got the chance to use a Nikon 70 to 300mm the othe day and was shocked at how much better the pictures were, I guess its one of the things that I get what I pay for...
