Wahooking- again, agree whole heartedly with things you are saying- I think our fundamental disagreement stemmed from where we were talking techniques and species. Without a doubt fast trolling for wahoo with plugs will outperform slow deadbait fishing for wahoo, that also translates the same way that deadbaitfishing with dredges and chains will outperform high speed lure fishing when the target species is whitey and the sails.

I swept the first annual OCMD Wahoo tourney (which has since gone away) trucking around with islanders down deep- I did my best to emulate the techniques Ihad read about you guys using down there in the islands (we weren't going quite as fast or rigging things quite as heavy though- just because i lacked the skillset and some of the equipment) but it worked here as well. I killed 7 wahoos over the 2 day tourney, and only 1 other fish was caught by a tourney boat!
