No both ways. You have to buy a special dish for this. Their big sales pitch is that they are faster than dial up! The house has no telephone lines and no catv too far off the beaten path and ocean front.

all u have to do is both users have to download and install skype on their pc and once u have a webcam or mike its all free. best thing ever i use it to talk to my parents back home in trinidad while im in university in england. saves us a ton of money

Skype is great for off days. You can call anyone's computer in the world for free as long as they have skype. Which means prank calls You can also call land lines or cells but you need to pay for that. Unless you call their computer and it transfers to their cell. I have talked to people all over the world.

i think it was like 15 cents or somewhere around there to call a land line or cell phone from skype from MX...find a good girl to skype/web cam with and you got yerself a partaaayyy!

We love it! My wife and baby talk to Grandma and Granddad on video phone almost every night. And it's FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been using it everyday since I got down here in mexico in early January. It is great. Very rarley do I have any delay or problems. Its great to have video calls with the wife. I have spent thousands in phone cards over the years and this has more than paid for itself. Have used it in Venezuela, and will use it in Cape Verde. You can't beat 2 cents a minute.
