sf.com one day tournament - any interest

I am thinking of putting together a one day sf.com tournament. In the past people have tried this but it never seems to get off the ground because no one can agree on a central location. So here are my thoughts.

1 day tournament. Fish out of any port you want in the continental US.

Entry fee is $100 per boat.

All you need is a pic of your catch to qualify. Must be posted on sf.com within 24 hours of your catch. Awards will be mailed on sept 18th.

We would pay out only first place.

first place dolphin - 25%
first place wahoo - 25%
First place tuna - 25%
most billfish released 25%

This would be strictly an honor system tournament. We would need about 20 boats to make this interesting.

This is kinda like the World Blue marlin tournament that is held each July 4th.

I am thinking fish 1 of 2 days sept 12 and 13th.

Any interest?

I'll donate a benjamin, but we don't stand much chance with the wahoo and dolphin up here

I didn't notice 12 or 13 of Sept. No good for me, but good luck to all who play. They should be stacked up pretty good by then and I'll prolly be doing Cast and Blast that week. Whitey Mon- Weds and Teal (season dates 16 -30 this year) Thurs and Friday. It might be my favorite week of the whole danged year.

Weather permitting of course.

Bill let us know when you start seeing teal in the Greater Tyaskin area.

I'd have an interest in doing this from OI, but need more details so I can talk to fishing buddies.
