Sailfish are getting back !!!

[BuenaVista Sportfishing Lodge]

Today John, Larry, Jim and Steve (alltackle) from Maryland went out 35 miles on the Furioso with Captain Fito and super mate Jeff Kirby they had 09 sailfish release for 15 raised and 1 Dorado of 17 pounds.
The morning was slow we went 1 for 5 with Larry catching his first sailfish , late morning we moved 3 miles and the fishing improved dramatically.
In the afternoon we caught 2 pairs of doubles with tailors everywhere.
The water was perfect conditions for sail fishing. At the end of the day Alltackle Steve missed more sailfish than the rest of the crew. Hopefully we can work with him tonight on his technique.

Omar, keep an eye on that boy, tell him not to put the Roland Martin on em when they come in there and tell Romeo to get off the deck and get in the game !! Good Luck !!

I'm in the game. The only problem is getting in front of rollerskates! Steve has bruises to show for it. We have a plan for tomorrow, ordered hockey pads!!!

Rough today so fished for dinner just off the beach. Supermate Steve greased a few today.

We'll report on sailfishing tomorrow night.
