sailfish action finally gettin decent

raised over 30 yesterday, had 28 bites. too bad our ratio sucked and we only caught 11. and 5 dorados to 40 lbs. but it was the 1st time i saw cutters this season and we had heavy bait and birds for over a 10 mile stretch. off today but back at it 2maro. boats that went up there today did well again. our marlin bite has yet to materialize this season, we have only caught 10(5 blues and 5 stripes) , compared to 40(mostly stripes) at this point last year. i am no scientist but am guessing el nino is the culprit........

Hey Howard where were u at? We had our slowest day on Wed.We went 2-3 . On tuesday we went 12-16 . Both days we started a little south from Guanamar. Danny on the dream raiser from down your way was hot. Think he had two day of 25 or better. All sails no marlin.

probably not far from u, 30 20 and 28 24 other day and today same area was slower but had plenty o birds and bait. they were bitin lazy and whatnot. we had 14 bites only catch 5 and 2 dorados
