well since we cant see a blue marlin on the PREDATOR here this season in the atlantic........ this is the last one i got to see... thanks for sharin it with me bill.
i dont know what it is but sure wish i could figure it out!!!! guess i ll just wait til november pacific blue ones...... and we have a few more white ones to see also....
Left Rio Dulce and back to Iztapa to get a couple days of fishing in before i had to leave for home. The bite was way off from all the reports. About that time I get a call from Howard. He said he is on his to Costa Rica and wanted to know if I wanted to fish a couple days. Got on the internet and found a cheap ticket to CR and off I went. Made the right decision.
Blue marlin comes up on the right Teaser and I missed him and Alacran missed him on the long. Howard goes into turn and gets back on the spot and here he comes again. This time I got em on the Biiiiiiggg PEEETCH BAIT, god I hate that thing. but it stuck. Put Susana in the chair and she gets her first blue marlin after about a twenty minute fight.
This little guy put on a hell of a show at the boat. I think we got the release quickly but he was hell on the wire
By the third time Alacran had to dump the leader susana was getting a bit tired.

Next up was a double header sail. Jovita's boy took one and her friend got in the chair to catch her first sail.

Finished the day off with a single that the blond girl caught. Can't remember her name. What a great day on the Tunabite. Didn't make it back out the next day so took off back to Guatemala to catch my plane home. A great week. Can't wait to start fishing down there again.
