QUICK DAY 1 VENEZUELA REPORT

I can see it now....Pino, steel in hand, nimbly sidestepping the charging beast like a Spanish/Italian Matador in the South American pit of death.

cant type long because its late and i need sleep. long story short, the fish tailed away and on top the whole fight. he then turned and charged the boat in the air. contrarty to popular belief i had my wits the entire time. i was ready to side step the blue because he was coming in the pit from the back into the starboard corner. when i noticed the fish was falin and instead of rising i decide to stay in the corner and reel the leader onto the tip to get the release. should of had it on video but the chickenshit ******* camera man dropped the camera and ran to the bridge. the chicken shit mate moved to the right and hid behind my ass and decalred himself safe. too much fun today on the sails. captain don´t get to updet about missing the sails since they just take up time. but we had a great day. tomorrow i think i will stay on the camera. especially since i am still up this late.

this place will stay consistant, not hot but consistent all summer. every one needs to try it one.

had another fun day today. i caught a sail first thing and the all life stopped. we made a move 20 miles to the east when we heard of a guy getting 4 blue marlin bites in 45 minutes. we set down and got a mystery bite. then we had a teaser bite on the black bart braziliano and he came on my right flat in text book fashion. i was 100% confident that this fish was mine. but he missed the bait and came back for seconds. i didn´t free spool again and missed it, i completely screwed up. thank god he came back on the right long and don got em. nice 275lb class fish. we missed another blue and a couple sails and then it died right out
