Just got in from our trip....will post a report...too tired for full details now...
Cocos was slow...but we fished a seamount 150 miles from here yesterday and caught a Quadruple slam and Double Digits of two species of billfish....
The tally yesterday was 4 blue marlin, 11 striped marlin, and 11 sails...
caught 7 more stripes and 6 sails this am before making the trek home...
Those squidnation chuggers worked great too! Thanks for the speedy shipping Bill...
triple slam in Venezuela 1997 or 31 sails in a day Mexico 98

Jon- congrats man. That is an incredible feat. You have joined a very select few in the world to have caught a quad slam- and double digits on 2 species in a day- cool as shit man.
Congratulations, and please extend congrats to Butch and the rest of the crew for me. Couldn't happen to a more deserving crew.
What great fishing and material for future articles! Congrats to you and the entire crew on what would be a once-in-a-lifetime day for 99.9% of anglers and crews world wide.
Pretty work, congrats on the double-double! I had heard that the water around Cocos was off-color and the bite never really turned on. Which seamount did you guys end up fishing? Just curious about location, water depth, etc.
