To ease the pain of the 300 mile trip to Cocos we spent our time fishing the numerous seamounts on the way...
Then chugged at night...
Cocos was a wild place...couldn't even have a rod out while within 15km of the island...no rigging baits at night either...
Since everyone fished across and had bites at one certain seamount we gave it a hole day on the way back...unfortunately I was too busy to ever grab a photo of a fish...but I've got some cool shots of the Island...
There's treasure in them caves!!!
Here's some shots
hittin the island...sea caves are everywhere...it was a big green mountain that lifted out of the sea...it rains everyday...25 ft a year...
Waterfalls fall into the ocean everywhere...
blue water too
Thanks to the Ocean for long range support...
Purse seiners chased us off the tuna schools
Can't wait for the next trip!
