OCMC Kids Tournament Report

I wasn't able to fish on Saturday but I did make sure to go to the OCMC Kids Tournament weighin on. I got their just in time to see reigning flounder queen Caroline Kennington (Dove Hunt's Daughter) weigh in her 3.5 lb flounder with her proud Popsy.

A few minuted later the crew of the Predator showed up with an impressive catch.

What a Crew!

Wil Mengason (Mover II's son) Caught his first white marlin with minutes to spare in their day.

A hug from a very proud mamma.

It just does't get any better then this.

Appeasing the fish gods didn't go over very well with Will.

unloading the tuna

Recounting Fish stories

The Flounder queen is not very impressed with Tuna

Relaxing after a long day. Congrats Will and the rest of the Predator Team.

Day 2

Day 2 got off to an early start as we headed out towards the spencer at 3:50am. Got a tuna bite as we were letting out the first line. Turned out to be a 26 inch throw back as were most of the tuna we caught on this day.

A couple doubles and triples on throw backs and skippies and we header towards the tip.

At 1:00pm a white comes up on the rasta bar fished short down the middle. Mike picks him off the bar with a naked dink and Mason Motes gets his first white marlin release and puts the Predator into third place in the billfish division.

Congrats to all the kids that fished the OCMC Kids Tournament and thanks to all that put in the time to make this another successful year for the kids!!!!

It was a team effort for the kids on the Predator to get this bluefin in the boat. Fish hit a black/purple squidnation big heavy
