COngrats on a beast of a fish Jason and crew!
Awsome Catch!!!
Send it to Hook at Grander Watch
Where was it caught, and is it the 1st Bahmian grander?
Bert
Proud of you, Jason
It was caught in the treasure cay leg of the BBC in Abaco. It is not the first Bahamian grander but is the new Bahamian record. The angler is Bahamian. Congrats to all!!
A few years ago off Abaco in the BBC a boat named Abracadabra fought a fish for 32 hours before breaking it off. Many very experienced guys saw this fish up close and speculate it may have been a 'tonner'. They were never able to get it to gaffing range though they did observe it feeding during the fight... The big one is still out there!
Anyone know if the BBC Rolex prize of $1,000,000. for the boat breaking the Bahamas blue marlin record was still in effect ? Hope Double Dog collected for their great fish...
Pretty work Jason & crew. She's a toad.
