    Need Cabo Info

Never fished there and actually I am not going but a group of 30 friends of mine are going to Cabo and need a charter for a few days. Probably 3 or 4 boats worth. Not all the guys are fishing that is why they only need 3 or 4 boats. OC Captain Al gave me some good advice on a boat and I am looking for a couple more. Please don't send references that you haven't fished on. Just want real Positive or Negative expierences so we can get these guys hooked up with the right boats. Thanks

    Cabo fishing referrals

    Hey Bill,

Have fished with all of these outfits and they're good. Not sure what size boats you're looking for but I've been fishing Cabo for over twenty years and know just about every good captain and crew done there.

MINERVAS - Minerva has run her tackle shop and charter fishing business since the 1970's and she's pretty much known as the mother of sport fishing in Cabo. She has a nice fleet of 30-40' boats but also reps larger boats.

POCHOS - Carlos Vazquez and Gustavo, his manager, run a tight outfit with mostly 30'-36' boats. These guys are frequent tourney winners in Cabo and his crews know the waters real well.

There are other outfits I can refer you too, but I'd need to know a bit more about what you're looking for regarding boat size.

Anything else you need to know about Cabo, visit my site.... CabosBest.com. If you have specific questions, feel free to PM me.

Bill, shoot me a note if you need any additional info. I've fished with the Picante fleet a couple times and have always felt that, even though they're a little more expensive, it was worth it, that they would run to where the fish were. They also had better boats, quality tackle, crews, etc. than most of what you would find in Cabo.
