Expect to pay $4-$4.50 around Delaware and O.C. If you are in Florida, you can get them cheaper. I know a few guys that catch them off Ft. Pierce and they charge $3.50 each.

thanks... i guess i will try to switch over to mullet. do you know a good place to get inexpensive mullet? baitmasters seems a bit expensive. what should i expect to pay per mullet/

C.A.....thanks for that....i think i tried that and did not like it either, but certainly faster I'd imagine.

There is one more stitch y'all may wanna consider.....after running wire thru mullet's head, but b4 twisting it, I do a single loop over the front of eye sockets, so wire will pull here as well as the head. After notching and maybe a squishing of the head I've found the notch can continue to split and make it easier for a fish to pull it off the wire. I tried x-small tie wraps (zip-ties) with a small "u" melted in it, so the wire would find the "u" and ride there, but got away from that for some reason (was heating up a size larger wire and melting a quick u in a stack of tie wraps at one time)
So some are using monel instead of floss?
