2009 was a tough year for me so I said what the Hell and off I went to Costa Rica to attended the first Marlin University of 2010 held at the Guanamar Resort in Costa Rica. This was a great set up. We fished 4 day's each day on a different boat with a different capt and crew.

Day 1 Fished on the Dream Raiser (35 Cabo) with capt. Danny went 12-24 with on Trippe header to finish the day.This day Charles Perry was our instructor.

Day 2 on the Bushwacker with Capt Skeet. (42 Bertram) Went 10-15 in some rough seas 5'-7' Had Peter Wright as our instructor.

Day 3 found us on the Abracadabra with capt. Rocky Finished the day 18-24 with Dave Ferrell screaming at us.

Last day we fished the Capulo ( 36 topaz) went 2-3 But the wild man Walker Holcomb made the day fun. I think walker and I are related somehow.

This trip was well worth the money.

The knowledge I was exposed to was unbelievable. This was truly a trip of a life time. Will try to post some Pics when I can.

Thanks for sharing. Marlin U is my "list" of things to do. I know it had to be an awesome trip but its good to hear someones feedback... Looking forward to the pics.

Dad and I fished the same session this time last year. had the time of our lives, met some amazing people. Dave, Pete, Walker and CP are a great group of guys. If you have the opportunity to do it. GO FOR IT!!
