Mid February and most of March were much under par for Galapagos. However the last week the bait has been increasing daily and we are seeing many more fish each day on Black Sheep Bank. Boats fishing Rosa Blanca are reporting 8 to 15 raises. We have been fishing Black Sheep and have raised 71 stripeys in 3 days and seeing 40 to 60 tailers a day. Other boats are reporting 20 to 30 raises The body of fish seems to be much larger now because fish are seen feeding on various parts of the bank at the same time and the bite has been going on several parts of the bank instead of smaller concentrated areas. Most fish have averaged a nice 150 and we are releasing a good number each day on circle hooks and ballyhoo. I will have complete report as soon as I have a break from fishing in 3 days. If you want to catch the incredible action we still have a few dates available on a few boats for April, May and June.
