heard of at least 2 superslams in last few days and at least couple double slams within last 2 weeks and i may be leavin a few out. sorry. we hung on to a blue marlin, 3 outta 4 striped marlin and 3 for 5 on sails today. raised another blue marlin that did not bite. hopin it continues............... still waiting on our first nice pod o sails to arrive....

Hey Howard, if you can keep catching marlin then screw the sailfish--they just get in the way! Nice to hear that the bite's been good so far, hope it continues into 2011 for the tournaments...

today we raised a blue marlin and teased him to the boat, he wouldnt switch. catch 1 of 2 striped marlin, 1 of 3 sailbites and killed 2 dorados. congrats to my stepson catchin his first marlin...... he went overboard in the marina!! and nice goin to mitch on SHOTGUN goin 4 fo 5 on blue marlin and NEVER SAY NEVER 3 for 4 on blue ones much closer to the beach than i was!!

and today i ran out to the west huntin a piece of cold, blue(78ish) water and found it at 1030 and in 2 hours we catch a sail, a blue marlin, and a striped marlin. pounded out the same rips in the afternnoon and only raised 2 sails that didnt bite. back on the hunt 2maro!

Any word on the offshore bite down near Drake or Corcovado? I fished there last week, but couldn't justify leaving the hot inshore bit near Cano. Water temps were right around 80.

heard there were some stripeys and sails down that way. CERVEZA is steamin up from golfito today and is gonna fish that area for a little while, maybe get a report later
