LEADER ABRASION ?

Most of my break-offs are due to leader failure. I am using seagar flurocarbon. Is there a better leader material (other than wire) when abrasion is the problem?
Thanks!

I guess the obvious choice would be to step up a size or two on your leaders if that's possible. Sometimes I know you have to go light in order to get the bites and just take your chances with abrasion, but hopefully you can go to a bit heavier leader for a quick fix.

I've been using Momoi Diamond for my leaders and it's about the best I've found for abrasion resistance. Hope this helps.

Confused here. What are you primarily breaking off? Billfish? Tuna?

This is in the circle hook forum so i am slightly confused.
