Once again we had a phenominal day at Buenavista lodge today. Connor, Paul and hitnrun bill went fishing and were 10 for 18 on sails and a 30lb dolphin. LC and I took the day off and went to see the sites of guatemala. What a great country with the nicest people. we saw antigua, san antanio, ciudad vieja and also had a great time getting lost in the mountains. but then we came back to the lodge and got on the panga with the 22 rifle. LC went 2 for 2 on iguanas and 2 for 4 on something that was a cross between an egrite and a duck. We have them on the grill as we type so weīll let you know how they taste.

the mountain adventure sounds interesting. The Iguana has the mountain adventure, by a mile.....Squidnation did you take any pictures of your adventures..?
never had an Iguana on the dinner table before ..or lunch table either !
the iguana was absolutely awesome. it tasted just like backfin crabmeat. I could just see trying to order up a bushel of iguanas. i just wish we would have gotten a few more since they were really small. the bird was extremely tasty but not very tender. Taking off in a few hours. So I am gonna go snap some more pics on the beach. just now sergio told me that right on the beach there is an old hotel that fell in the water. I just know there is gonna be a snook or rooster in hotel. so i am gonna take a couple of plugs as well.
