Thumbs up Introducing BetterBait Systems Circle Hook Rig

Hello all,

First I would like to thank the owners at Sportfisherman.com for approving our product announcement.

Well, BetterBait Systems LLC has made a mark in the circle hook industry. We introduced our products at the ICAST 2009 show in Orlando last week and took 1st Place in the "Best New Terminal Tackle" division. Our "Circle Hook Quick Rig" is also featured on ESPN Bass Pro website under the icast section.

The rig is designed to quickly produce a great tournament legal Circle Hook swimming troll bait. It can literally be rigged in 30 seconds. (we were timed at the show).

The Specs are as Follows:
1 of our patented small molded chin weights with a "NEW Model" 8/0 Mustad Ultrapoint Demon Circle Hook: Extra Fine Wire and 9' of Pro Tackle 100# Mono. The leader is snelled to the hook. The only item you need to rig completely is some copper wire and your choice of swivel if so desired. We purposely left the mono open ended, so you can attach it to your outfit as you want. The current rig is ideal for sailfish, white marlin, small bue marlin and tuna. We will be introducing a larger size with either a 9/0 or 10/0 Circle Hook with our medium or large chin weight for Horse Ballyhoo and Fluorocarbon replacing the mono.

We currently only sell retail, locally in the Florida Keys and over the internet worldwide. But that is changing quickly. We had 2 major distributers pick up our products and should be available in your local tackle shops soon. If you don't see it in your local stores, ask the shop to look into it and get them on order. In South Florida, Capt. Harry's currently has them for the dealers, but like I said 2 other large distributers will be stocking them soon. Once the orders are placed, I can reveal the names.

If you are interested or have any questions just drop me an email or PM and we can set you up. Also check out our web site at www.betterbaitsystems.com and www.betterbaitsystems.net

Thanks and "Fish-On"
Scott Fricke

Very cool website and rigging products - can't wait to give them a try - Looks simple enough for even myself to rig one of these bad boys.

You can check out some rigging videos at http://www.betterbaitsystems.net/Rig...ircle-Rig.html

We have changed the product specs since the video but you will get the idea. Let us know if you have any other questions or comments.

Thanks for the comment. You could try the islander in front, but It will probably cover the hook and cause and un-desirable hook-up ratio. Our other Quick Rig prtoducts are designed to place the hook in the back of the bait and can be custom made with the circle hook instead of the j. If it isn't tournament legal you are looking for, than that would be your solution to running an islander or any other lure with our rigs. We are always open to sugestions to produce a product that works for all.
