I'll take that beer now John

A little about the Circle and Billfish Forum

No private membership, no time limits on posts, just 246 healthy threads of no nonsense Circle hook information and Domestic and International billfish reports. No bashing, No need for moderation or post deletion -just some very healthy debates about billfish tournaments and governmental regulations. We have had some people disagree on circle hook laws and NMFS rules before but never a single negative post. We have had some great debates about snelling vs crimping, floro vs mono, mullets dredges vs plastic but never had ( i think) a single personal insult gestured towards another - just healthy fishing debate. No prima donna posters, no inflated egos or my way or the highway attitudes - Just helpful insight and contributions from some of the best billfish captains in the world, insight from officers of some of the most highly regarded associations in our industry and contributions from editors of magazines that are on the forefront of billfish tornaments worldwide.

Until today.

See Admin - I told you we could make it longer then 30 days. You owe me a beer

My goal for this forum was and still is to provide a platform where billfishermen can share tips, reports and ideas on billfishing and particularly billfishing with circle hooks. We never wanted to be the biggest, have the most threads or earn the most credits (unless we can redeem them at the beetle bar). Thanks for all that have read and contributed!

BTW - we are hittin the road again starting Feb 5th. Stay tuned for some rockin billfishing reports from around the world!!!!!!!!!

Bill,

I for one have enjoyed this forum. As someone who enjoys fishing other parts of the world I have gained some new ideas and hopefully shared some as well. I was sorry to see some adversity today in here but as winter sets in tempers seem to swell up and small things balloon into larger ones. Look forward to upcoming reports.

Bill:
I'd like to take a moment to offer my thanks to you for coming up with the concept of a circle hook billfishing forum, and also to thank Admin John for allowing this madness on his website. It's very refreshing to visit here without being 'walked on' by prima-donnas or 10-year old kids with computers, just a good hard-core group of captains, mates and anglers.

Here's to another great year!

Fair winds and following seas to you and yours,

Sam

Sorry for ...

being a little abrasive to Marty, but the last thing SFC or any other fishing site needs is to have somebody go to the IGFA and say, " Hey you should see how we are being based on EYZ's site." Again, sorry for being a bit abrasive.
