it happens even in the marlin mecca
we extended our travel by a couple of days because of the incredible fishing. but even in marlin mecca the fish get the better of us sometimes. had two great teaser bites that never bit us and we missed two others. oh well. guess what, as much as it sucked i still had fun. i think i saw a killer whale today. actually two swiming side by side and they breached twice. when i called it out they never came back up within site. i will stick by my sighting even though i was the only one that saw it. they have seen them here but not too often. last year we saw a big one that everyone on the boat saw.
