Hair or Rubber Skirt?

What do you guys end your teaser chain with. Do you guys a prefer a skirted lure or maybe a hair lure/bait combo.

We are trying to tie or skirt some new stuff to take to Guatemala and test for a possible springtime release.

Our heads are 100% domestically made here on Eastern Shore and are semi-soft and so far will be solid in color. Here is a sample of what I am talking about. Would you tie them with some crystal and blue or straight pink for example or would you skirt them. Let me know. I will try to pick of few of the responses and make em up and take them to Guatemala and Mexico with me next month.

I like both hair and skirted (when you say skirt you mean something like a Wide Range skirt, right?) both rigged with a natural bait...horse, mack, or mullet

When pulling two chains, I like pulling an Express/bait combo (hair skirt) on the back of one chain and a Wide Range/bait combo (rubber skirt) on the back of the other.

Thats what we are going to fish off the chains this weekend. After you get a few done, I would love to see what they look like

I saw the title and had to respond... I prefer just a little bit of hair beneath a rubber skirt...

But on lures, I generally prefer hair - Crystal and something, maybe a bit of mylar or flash...

I think all crystal hair would be pretty sick on them all...especially the blue ones.

Hair. I must agree crystal would be bitchin on all of them. The red on red looks pretty sick. We always have to reskirt shit a couple times a season, we got hair lures that are missing most of the hair but still catch. My vote goes with hair

We've used both the Islander-style hair lures (bullet nose) and small chugger-style skirts, both with ballyhoo or (even better) dorado belly strips sewn up Panama-style inside. In the name of science, why not try both, one on each chain, and see how you do?

Blue/white, pink/white or yellow/green with a fair amount of crystal would look great behind the chains! Good luck...
