I second what jbonvetti says about skirting the lures, this will hide the floss or line you use to secure the skirt on and will give it a cleaner look. It will also give added security and make it 10x harder to slip off, although likely it won't either way. Lures are looking great, can't wait to hear how they run and what they tease up. I have become a fan over the last year of adding a mylar strip to my lures with hair and it seemed to improve my strike numbers once I did, added flash is always good, maybe try that as well. Good luck and let us know when the finished products are out, will have to pick a few up for the spread.

Thanks for the tip Joe. Can't wait to see them. These are folded inside out and folded back over to hide the floss. except for the green latern type. any floss you may see is actually just a little piece of rope used to hang the lure from the ceiling fan.

I'll second the pledge and turing the skirt inside out, flossing it and rolling it over. The pledge works great skirts slide on effortlessly. Check out Black Barts site, go to tips and tricks, there is a video about skirting lures, very helpful.
