Captain Herb Gordon and his crew have arrived at the lodge to film a couple of episodes of “The Weekend Fisherman” as seen on the Outer Banks and Virginia Beach. Today they raised 12 sails and released 9. The weather and seas cooperated as the cold water dome continues to affect the number of fish seen and the intensity of the bite. The cool water upwelling and warm cross currents may abate within the next 48 hours according to NOAA guidance. Tomorrow’s focus will be for Roosterfish and some table fare.
