    Its a stripe

    Here are some photos of baby marlin caught in the south pacific.

    Notice the length of the beak on the baby blue. They are very short whilst the striped marlins beak is quite large.

    The first 2 are blues and the last is a stripe.

    Thanks for the examples Tetepare,
    To me the dorsal on the Stripey also seems taller than the blues.
