End of the month report

At the end of December we had Paul Castronovo, his son Anthony, Jay Lighter and his son Jake on board the Captain Hook.

28 Dec - very poor weather, 5-6ft swells and tough fishing - raised two sails, 1 bite and 1 caught/released

29 Dec - a little better weather, out 30-40 miles - raised 8 sails, 8 bites and released 4. One blue 250# tagged - for Jake. Anthony released a sail that has to be the largest I've ever seen (over 150lbs) in Guatemala!

30 Dec - we went looking for the blues 40-60 miles out and found them!
Raised 9 sails, 7 bites and released 3. Paul got a 375 blue on 30lb, Jay a 350 blue on 30 and Anthony a 300 blue on 50lb.

They'll be back!!!

Thanks for the report Capt Ron! Nice to see you guys nailing the blues with more and more consistency down there. Three blue dogs in one day and four over a few days is world class anyway you slice it!
