I had someone build some "custom" dredges for me last year, and after only pulling them a few times, the swivel sleeves on the arms started getting loose, and have rendered them virtually unusable, but the should be easily reparable. They worked great when they were new and have good components (heavy weighted heads and titanium arms), but it is obvious that something was missed in the construction. Anyway, my concerned now is what would the proper way to put new swivel sleeves on the arms so that they will not come loose. Crimping? Adhesive shrink tube? a combination of both? Etc.?
