    Double to Single Line knot

i had a couple knots pull through when testing out my dink rigs where the single line and the double line connect. here is my current setup

30lb high vis mainline to a 20 turn bimini

80lb wind on (tied to the bimini --this is the knot i need to improve)

Snap Swivel to the end of the windon

6 foot dink rig snapped on.

any suggestions for what knot i should be using to connect the bimini to the windon with the least probability of knot failure?

Mis-read what you are trying to do...albright is super easy and quick. I have had it break under high loads, but for Whitey fishing, you should be ok

Albright. quick and easy. Not going to break with 8-13lbs of drag which I'm sure you're using for your WM rods.

    Google the slim beauty.

There are a few different ways to tie it. Just mess with it until you get the number of wraps that works best with what you are using. it will vary with mono v. braid and line test.

For me the Yucatan aka noname knot makes the smallest and neatest join and I've never had a problem with it (although it may not be the absolute strongest knot). Easy and quick to tie too.

No name is the way to go easier to tie than an albright or uni and stronger too.
