Costa Rica Boat Recommendations for January 2010

I am traveling to CR w/ the GF and another couple the week after the Los Suenos Sig Series tournament. We will be there 1/17-1/22, and plan on fishing 4 or 5 days. We planned the trip with the intention of fishing with friends from Charleston, SC, who are bringing the boat to CR, but they have decided to immediately head to Panama after the tournament. We've booked the flights, but now we are without a game plan. I have never fished CR, so I am fired up for a different flavor of billfishing. Any recommendations would be much appreciated (especially which boat(s) to charter, restaurants, night life, etc).

Check out Captain Dave Costaricasportfishing here on the board. I am sure the the CR guys here on the board can guide you to nightlife and hotels. I have stayed at the cocal casino before. it was OK.
