Bert, that tarpon fishing was in the back of our minds, but the beach run for the Tarpon has slowed considerably. We ran back from North of Ft Pierce looking to try and score at least 1 more sail but at that point it might have been a bit half hearted an effort.

When we hit the inlet, I took 5 min to hook up a nice little 20lb snook before the run back into Rocky Pt.

I used to catch poons and snook this time of year just off the beach at Hole in the Wall. About 1/2 mile S. of the inlet.
