going to be a tough transformation if you ask me, rigging a small lure like a moldcraft jr chugger or lil hooker can be as simple as rigging the circle above everything at the head of the lure, but then again your going to have to make him eat it all.

Chris,
as I said on the other board , I spent some time at the Miami show discussing this very topic with Tim Choate. He was very enthusaistic about the Quick-Change pro-range heads, and when I pointed out the potential there with a particular shape that could be used succesfully with circle hooks we discussed making some prototypes asap. Rest assured that now I am back in New Zealand we'll be in the machine shop on Monday to follow up on the project and I'll make sure you get some samples to play with of what I designed on the plane home. Are thinking of this system for Cabo stripies ?Naturally, I'll make a 18" version for you to play with in Brazil, 22/0 circles, right ? I did come up with a possible solution for your deep-diving fish down there too, but you never came back so couldn't tell you. It might work......... Contact me for more details - you have my e-mail ! Roddy |
