Attach the monel to the swivel with 3 very small tight haywire twist.
When you rig the bait, the loop of the swivel that has the monel attached will be just inside his mouth and under his top lip. The other end and the center of the swivel will be exposed. To start, insert the monel from the inside of his mouth, through his lower jaw and out the bottom in the center of his mouth. Slide your weight on the monel and center it up and hold it with your finger. Then take the monel behind the gill plates and over his head. Then through the eyes a couple times Through the bottom lip and up out the top lip. Then wrap down the top lip to the swivel and you can wrap down the bill if you want even though there is no line there. |

Thanks John, that's what I thought. I plane on trying out all of the ones I have seen. I can think of 5 so far including one that uses floss instead of monel.
I'm also wondering what the opinions are, snell, crimp, or simply tied on hooks? Bert |

eagle claw knife
I am thinking about buying this folding eagle claw bayonet knife from this website. I would like to know if anyone has heard of this company before or seen this knife before. The knife looks like it is made very well but I would like to find someone who may already have it to tell me more about it. I would also like to know how to find out if this LDU Company is trustworthy. Their website is www.LDUcompany.com , If anyone has bought them before please let me know.
