The hot circles last year were Owner and Eagle Claw.
Chuck - a couple attributes about the VMC circle Hook.

1. The gap may be just a tiny bit wider then that of a eagle claw or owner. although I have not put it side by side to the owner yet. but I will.

2. It is by far the sharpest circle hook I have found. I don't know if it is mental or actually easier to hook fish with them but my cofidence level surely went up when I stuck myself 3 times just trying to deploy the bait.

3. It is priced at an affordable cost to be able to use them on a one and done basis like the Eagle Claw hooks.

Awesome Bill thanks!! I'll be adding some more to my stock after that testimonial!! I've been a big fan of there hooks after seeing them at the Henry's show a couple years ago. They also have some very sharp J hooks for artificials.

Both but mainly the 7/0 for whites. We didn't use circle on our blue marlin baits last year but we will be using them this year. We will use the 8/0 VMC and a mini chugger with a lg ballyhoo
